About this conference
IAC is delighted to announce the Online Winter Model UN - Crisis Committee, held online on Mon, Jan 18, 2027! Online Model United Nations Conferences are open to grades 4–8 with grade-based divisions dependent on the size of the competition — separate committee rooms for grades 7–8 and grades 4–6 (grades 4–5 will likely compete together). Students do not need to qualify and can register directly. Students may compete from anywhere in the US.

National Qualifying Exams — up to 3 may be taken at Online Model UN Conferences. Available Exams:

- US History Bee NQE
- National Biology Bee NQE
- National Citizenship Bee NQE
- National Humanities Bee NQE
- National Spanish Bee NQE
Payments may be made online or by check.
Quiz Bowl for All
Students eligible for Free or Reduced Lunch can apply to Quiz Bowl for All (QB4All) for financial aid to cover their conference registration. This organization is separate from International Academic Competitions. Please refer to their website for more information and to apply for assistance. Registration & Deadlines
- Afternoon committee: $85
- Registration deadline: Sun, Jan 3 · 11:59 PM ET: committees close after this
- Tournament day: check-in opens 11:30 AM · day ends 3:45 PM (Eastern Time)
- NQE exams: can be added until Sun, Jan 17 · 5:00 PM ET
- Committees, before the deadline: full refund minus a $10 processing fee
- Deadline to the Thursday before: 50% refund
- From 12:00 AM ET that Thursday: no refunds
- NQE exams: not refundable, but count as credit for taking them online
