About this conference

IAC is delighted to announce the Online Spring Model UN - Crisis Committee, held online on Sat, Apr 17, 2027! Online Model United Nations Conferences are open to grades 4–8 with grade-based divisions dependent on the size of the competition — separate committee rooms for grades 7–8 and grades 4–6 (grades 4–5 will likely compete together). Students do not need to qualify and can register directly. Students may compete from anywhere in the US.

National Qualifying Exams — up to 3 may be taken at Online Model UN Conferences. Available Exams:

Quiz Bowl for All

Students eligible for Free or Reduced Lunch can apply to Quiz Bowl for All (QB4All) for financial aid to cover their conference registration. This organization is separate from International Academic Competitions. Please refer to their website for more information and to apply for assistance. Registration & Deadlines

Afternoon committee: $85
Registration deadline: Fri, Apr 2 · 11:59 PM ET: committees close after this
Tournament day: check-in opens 11:30 AM · day ends 3:45 PM (Eastern Time)

NQE exams: can be added until Fri, Apr 16 · 5:00 PM ET

Refund policy

Committees, before the deadline: full refund minus a $10 processing fee
Deadline to the Thursday before: 50% refund
From 12:00 AM ET that Thursday: no refunds
NQE exams: not refundable, but count as credit for taking them online
